Make that 11….it just looks too good…. aaahhh Anyway, if I do that, do you think you can keep up with the crowd with just the bar blenders …I mean grinders? We don’t seem that busy for a Friday night…. even if it IS already the wee hours of Saturday morning.

But…a few minutes later, Connie wins the battle.

No problem! Just use separate covers for sleeping; the rest of the time – who cares?

Hope you’re better soon! My doctor can’t understand why I’m always feeling fine (not even missing not having a drop since mid Feb). I told him the gin is a strong flavor, so I just make my Koolaid extra strong to sip on the rocks ;-D Good to be flexible.

I’m having some Bengal Spice Tea from Celestial. It’s pretty tasty even without the hawthorne that I add.

I’ll try that sometime. Right now this and the Apple Cinnamon are my FAVs (also like Country Peach, but it needs a little something more). Right now all I add is Stevia and Hawthorne extract.

I fell out of bed at sunrise, so I’m back! Fellow Baby, I thought it was not to drink and drive. You put new meaning into it, don’t drink and record. ROFLMAO! Do I even want to know what happened in that particular instance? Does it make for good entertainment and a big belly laugh per chance?

Fellow Baby, it usually means I screw something up – over and over again. Now if I’m stone cold sober and I make a mistake, I don’t usually repeat it. The recording process just tends to take longer when I’m hoisting a few.

And no I don’t find it funny, because when it comes to my recordings, I tend to be a perfectionist. Even if I make a small mistake, I can hear it on the playback and it just drives me nuts. So I re-record over the mistake.

Hi, Shika. I hope you saw my reply among the nearly 400 comments. If it were a 3 bean casserole, I’d certainly consider it a threat.

@Linda,When I finish this year as a vegan, I’ll NOT go right back to having beef at least once a week (or Yak either). Right now what I need to figure is WHY my cholesterol has risen since February (even though all other readings have improved). The only dietary cholesterol is from nuts and an egg yolk sometimes in baking, so it is a bit of a puzzle. Somehow my body is making MORE? I love good caviar once in a while, and baked (not raw) oysters, and I know fish oils would be healthier than other. The point being to select healthy foods that one can really enjoy. I love to make fine feasts for my lover and I to enjoy and he often cooks too at both of our houses. After I lower BP I will make my whole wheat pizza (H with that GF crap!) with smaller measured amounts of lowfat cheeses and will use mushrooms etc (NO pepperoni- seasoning can give that same flavor to mushrooms). I have learned a lot from TVP (currently using a huge can of sausage flavor TVP in my GF pasta).

Dazz, there is cholesterol and saturated fat in dairy products and just one egg meets the daily requirement for cholesterol intake. Cheese is also something I prefer to eat sparingly. Pizzas are out – all the way out of my diet.

And whether I return to a glass or 2 of gin per day when I’m alone, have not yet decided. I know that I feel no compulsion for it at any time and most certainly do not need it when I have my man with me (one or 2 is OK for special dinners). Heck, if I were drinking now I would have mixed up a tall mint julep (fresh branches out in my garden); I bought that bottle of Southern Comfort just for that and would toast the Derby.

@Grog, the cheese will only be eaten when I’m done being vegan. A recipe for 2 cups of almond flour made into crackers uses 1 whole egg (225g) but that is MANY servings (usually have 20-25g of almond crackers with a meal). I will eat measured cheese, turkey breast or other animal fats when I’m done being vegan, as I only promised to deprive myself of almost everything yummy for one year!

@Dry, Funny! I’ve been watching that special that I saved a few days ago on “Queen of Versailles” about the couple who started to build a US palace and went bankrupt. In a way I’d say serves him/them right. He made all his money off time shares sold to others and they lived beyond their means and he married a beauty queen 30 years younger. He’s almost the age of myself and my man. We both can’t afford to retire as we might if all the investments had not lost, but I have a home that is 90% paid (even at lower evaluation) and he owns his and his business with a customer base in 1000s. We have a good life, but there are things we can’t afford (like spending all our time together. I am conserving lights and AC with common sense.

Yes, aging is even worse for fruit than for humans ;-)
