Only thing I ever took for a walk is a bird. Cuddles loved to go places, but preferred crowds (gem shows, art fairs and later -SCA events; when we arrived at an event and she first spied someone in costume, she would crow with delight and start to dance on my arm/shoulder. (such a ham – she was definately my alter-ego).
Hang in there Shirley the best is yet to come. Over the horizon and on down the slope there are numerous pruned and budding rose bushes, a barricade busting course, several pools of free standing water, some vintage and some fresh and if that’s not enough to make your Friday a memorial day, just think, Stan will be home from his colonoscopy any minute. Holy cow it doesn’t get any better than this, does it???
I just visited CD and saw a refresh comments!! Came back to see if it’s here. This morning I used the Reply button (tho’ it still showed code, it works); no problem to CtlC anything I need to show what I respond to.
Darn! I posted (had some pauses ?? during writing) and submitted once, saw 2 copies of same message and deleated the last- now both gone?? WTH? I just danced the Twist as sung by some “Beatles” on AM news
My brother, with his never funny sense of humor, gave me a soap on the rope right after my divorce. It was not appropriate for me to actually even be able to hang in the shower (with 4 teens in the house). I stashed it in the back of my closet for many years hoping to think of someone I disliked enough to regift it and finally threw it out (and by then I had my lover, so the sting was not. . . )

Anybody still up?
Red… hope they didn’t get that scotch all over you…..I’m taking that one off your tab, whether or not they replaced it.
Oh… looks like you paid off your tab…so you have a credit for a double Glenfiddich…

Her sister’s going to have a contentious probate with an unsympathetic judge in order to get those shoes.

@Bev,That’s what happened to me above. From now on I guess I need to leave my 2 copies, or do as you did. Eventually this will all shake out.
And that song was OK for a dance (not as lively as the Twist) but only two times? OK, I’m missing him way too much for that.

If I were on my computer, I’d be posting a link to Working For the Weekend right now. Maybe later.

I’ll check it later, bev. At the moment, I’m watching a DVD from The Avengers 1962 set.

And not a bad moment for Sidney Greenstreet either, bev. That film was loaded with great character actors.

Outdoor temp is down to 88 (from 92 earlier) so I’ll sleep fine with this nice breeze after a cool bath. G’night all!
