Oh Drat. . . .looks like zero Monty, Flesh and Moondog for another week. Wish this indulgence would go-away.

It would be nice if we could lock up this kid and Clem from Rose Is Rose in a room somewhere where we never have to encounter them again.

Aw, poor little rich boy, has to pump his own swing.

I didn’t like these guys at first, but long ago they became my favourite characters in the strip. Except maybe Fleshy.So my favourite all time Monty is when they tried to Lego® brick Fleshy into the dungeon. Brilliant gag and colouring.

I like them.

Even Jarvis has not been out in the World of Commoners enough to know that public playground swings are not electrically-powered!

Sedgwick and Jarvis rule. We need more of them!!!!!

I also like these two. They’re a good side-show to this strip.Ta-taa!

I’d enjoy Sedgwick and Jarvis more if they were to interact with Monty and Moondog in a story arc—the obvious lead-in would be another Sedgwick/Fleshy conflict. Just sayin.’

Seriously, how can anyone hate this one-percenter and his manservant? I think they are uber-cute.

I agree with Chalkie j. A week with these guys sucks.

The kick I get out of Sedgwick and Jarvis is the imagined voices. Really, it’s the movie “Arthur” gone weird and over the top.

Oh these two are the best part of Monty’s strip . Please do a spin off strip they are the funniest!

Darn! I usually look forward to Monty each day, but not with these characters. I wish Mr. Meddick would create a separate strip to satisfy the fans of these characters and leave them out of Monty.

Sheriff and Otto… I thought out was real bricks… or do I have two confused.

It was a takeoff on the Cask of Amontillado.

Could be that some people are feeling a tad uncomfortable with the lifestyle the little master and his man portray. One wonders if the lord of the manor has an auto-lift?

Sedgwick is the best part of the strip. Unusual for Jarvis to lack in street smarts, unless he’s playing dumb so as to avoid pushing Sedgie

I like the whole bunch in Monty. Having so many “established” characters gives Meddick more chances of dreaming up new stories where before unseen encounters are made. Most of the characters are easy to create “solo gags” for, except perhaps Pilsner, in my opinion. But I think that Pilsner interacting with Sedgwick might be a good base for a number of arcs.

Personally, I like these guys. In fact, I wouldn’t mind seeing more of ’em—or, come to think of it, them in their own comic.

Clem is essential to Rose is Rose.Otherwise the strip would be way too saccharine.Mind you, Vicky is always welcome.

Otto – I will check my archives. Something went wacky that week and another colorist had to jump in using a different palette. Maybe that’s what enamored you so.
