I am much like that as well, except pretty doesn’t matter…its my biggest fear in life and I fight constantly to overcome it. I would have been the kid waiting then seeing her and running away as fast as I could.
I seem to recall a TV special where Charlie Brown does actually get close to the little red-haired girl (Heather). He kissed her on the cheek at the dance, but the next morning he woke up and had no memory of what happened afterward.
