I have to go out on Susan feet… if I can find them….They should be right at the ends of my legs…. and my head is in a fog…
Wow, it’s hard to know what’s going on here. Monty’s petting days are probably over, so is he vying for attention or sending a cryptic message to Shirley. Is this a spoof on the cat or retaliation on Rusty Boy for the three day old fruit salad incident which sent Shirley to her sister, Monty to the boat house, left the neighborhood in a slow tail spin, and the Fish, Game and Soil Conservation officer on a dead wild goose chase? Hard to know with this outfit. Monty has been known to exhibit some pretty strange behavior without any apparent tie to today’s reality. Let’s just say he has taken free association to a new level and leave him there at that. On the other hand, if the tickets are cheap enough I’ll go just to have a look at the scenery. Thanks Ballard Street, it’s Saturday and the king crazies are just warming up ….
Good thing that Monty lives in a ranch style home, otherwise he’d be using the newel post as a scratching post. And, at least he doesn’t track litter all over the house.
I guess I’m just a pessimist! I need to take some clothes off. Just drove home from giving my shoemaking class (tho’ I also took a class on cooking fot a feast and/or campsite) and afterwards went back to main building for Royal and Baronial Court before eating my vegan lunch. It’s 107 outside now so the linen shirt (long sleeves) and the silk twill tunic over it have me very warm (although I removed my veil before driving home).
I just noticed that now Flickr is making posting my pictures elswhere more difficult. Instead of a full addy on this one of that dress, it has only http://www.flickr.com/photos/7478809@N03/ which I’m pretty sure will not show a jpeg (and they had already made smaller files into gifs. Any of the Techies here able to deal with this one??
@ SusanYour pics didn’t show. Maybe they’ll come up later.I went to the liquor store to buy a pint of rum the day I turned 21. I was so disapointed that I didn’t get carded.Don’t bury me yet, I’m not 50 ’til 3:03 am MDT.

Hi and bye, Red…An ammonia spill sounds awful!.Hope you got a shot of the 30-year-old….
I just came back to say I was leaving, too.I’m exhausted.
I was in such a rush when I got back tonight, just to get my cake baked, decorated and posted by the start of the party, I’d missed a few comments….
So I didn’t say thanks, pcolli, for the poem!Nice.
There were other things I should be answering too…. but I have to sleep!
I cleaned the big grinder, Fenton…. and swept up most of the mess…Dimitri will be here in about 20 minutes to finish up.
Save yourself and the Monkey each a shot of that great whisky too… I’m sure Brian won’t mind.
The rest is for him to drink or share tomorrow, as he pleases, cos it’s his birthday all day.
Hope the earlier party arrivals, like X and No. 6, and Happy, and JP Steve got some.(I’m sure Stel and Bev did, cos Stel brought one of the bottles…. and Bev…. well, let’s just say…she’s not one to miss…. a shot. )
And the East Coast wakes up and greets the dawn. No fog or cats feet here. But there is a glow in the far west sky. Weatherman says it’s from a place called Ballard Street. Apparently a Tiki Hut has been hosting a birthday celebration that started on the stroke of midnight….somewhere. Have a GRRRRRRRRREAT DAY,Briatollah! And with friends like these, it should REALLY be HAPPY!

I see even Susan has trouble with pictures lately. and I don’t mind having my whole page at Flickr showing (those are just a selection of my photos for GoComics) I had no other reason to USE Flickr. I just object to not having ability to show ONE photo!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN! I might be able to post from elsewhere but I like being able to edit a photo and THEN post it. I think that in the spirit of virtual imbibing I might just have a bit of Scotch, but even virtually, it would be a waste to have the good stuff because I’d rather top it with a little Amaretto (to make it more like Drambuie). ;-D

At least I got some lively dancing done (to Grog’s music and my Happy Birthday was the first version I’ve been able to dance to)@Bev, that drink had too much lemon to go well with rum (IMNHO) and @Grog I also have a good assortment of sweet liquours in my pantry (and added a few to me lover’s cabinet last time I was there) and I HATE when even my grandkids put sugar on my lovely grapefruit. Sweetner spoils the great flavor of the fruit (the only one I sweeten is my morning lime) although I add a little sugar when I cook up some fresh blueberries to top the pancakes or french toast. This diet does not allow sweet fruit (though my doc leaves details up to me). He’s a little upset that I regect the gluten idea, but that was never what I planned on. I took Dr Ornish’s book with me when I first visited this doc.
I’m still not much fun at a party right now (which is why I have not scheduled any trips yet) All the dietary restrictions (AND no drinks) and lugging around a bunch of supplements (even to the class I taught yesterday). All I can do is just dance (and other activities) not much party-wise, so I’ll say G’night to all and go take a good soak. Happy Birthday, Cha-cha-cha!
