It’s Fantastic Flag Day Friday, Ballardeers. Let’s all salute Old Glory – No, not Susan, the flag, Munkey – I started to say, let’s salute Old Glory with a special Flag Day cocktail down at the Tiki. Will concoct one that will make you see stars but won’t put you in stripes ( prison stripes, that is. )I’m thinking about something with clear rum, blue Curacao, strawberries and whipped cream. How about it ?
@Ling, That sounds like my Dazzler -with the addition of a little Goldwasser for the stars – I like the clear rum instead of vodka, although I think I have some rum with a bit of coconut too. I’ll check my stock.
To have red for the RWB, I’d toss in a maraschino cherry!Strawberries and whipped cream can be saved for . . . other uses! Strawberries dipped in a mix of yogurt (or sour cream) with lots of Kahlua are yummy!
OK, Fenton, I’m getting ready to head home now. I’ll be at the Tiki in about an hour. Start lining up those Bloody Caesars. They do take time to make and I will be thirsty.
Good Night Ballardeers. I seem to be out of sync with everyone tonight. Sorry I missed the fun! But I enjoyed catching up on some of the comments.susan, you can’t tell me you missed that! lol (You’ll never live this down you know.)
Turn out the lights, the party’s over. For me, anywho. Roll me into a corner of the Tiki with a blankie and pillow ane wake me in the morning, por favor! Good night Balladeers.
Arthur…… Arthur, Arthur, you have reached that age; the old playful games have taken on a life of their own. Shirley is up for anything, always has been, you know that….but standing on the roof without your pocket protector….I know I know, your shoes are shined, the banking is done, the garbage was taken out, Rusty Boy was walked and the visit to the park was a sterling success. Your eyes maybe transfixed on the horizon but that’s not necessarily a good thing. Where’s your head and how come I have to ask?

Reminds me of Third Rock from the Sun. When they would sit on the roof.
