I’m sorry I wasn’t commenting here… I was commenting elsewhere as you know as I read your comment to me at The Buckets yesterday. The main reason was because I had things on my mind. The other reason was because of the Prof.

@Chalkie jLoved the classics today! I wish I could find that old Don Martin cartoon where Andy Capp accidentally drinks water for the first time and of course gags on the foul taste.

In the misty,-Chalkie-water, I know where I belong and need to get back there (here) ! .Today’s Capp is typical Andy. Least he could have done is to have a full boat. That way someone else can do the rowing...If Dry calls that a little rain, I wonder what she calls a lot of rain. ..Glad to see you back, Three !..Am I the only one who’s waterlogged with Chalkie’s reCapps ? ……. ..Thanks for the “holiday” reminder, Stagger Lee...@jmcx4Thanks for doling out some “Cash” !
Bless This StudioWish i could be like David Watts, and lead this Team to victory; pretty-sure about taking my Exams [and passing the Lot][snerk]. Happy to observe, tho.

Well, Andy doing actual work for a sup is pushing plausibility as-is; what You suggest is plain silly.Besides; i only have a limited imagination; can’t see anyone asides Andy leading the charge. . . . As for being ‘waterlogged,’ Sponges as-yerself need an occasional wringing. Hear anything, yet?
@Chalkie jYour combination of the “fog” Andy mates and the boat Andy is desperately paddling to the pub gave me my biggest laugh of the day! It showed far more imagination than the current lot of Andy despoilers is capable of most of the time. I still can’t find that Don Martin cartoon myself, maybe you or one of the other loyal Cappers will have more luck?
And since I don’t have time to send an e as I am heading to my feather pillows sooner than later TELL THE MAN OF THE MOUNTAINS IN COLORDAO, THAT ANDY’S LITTLE RAIN AIN’T GOT NUTHIN’ OVER AGNES, IRENE OR SANDY! PISH, ANDY’S TRIALS WAS JUST A RIVER FLOAT!
I wonder what the NSA, et al thinks about our little gab fest here? Well, if they are listening in, I hope they get a laugh or two. I am now fully immersed in water aerobics(pun intended). It is amazing how sore I get from something thirty years ago would have been simply fun.

rain or shine, flood or heat wave, nothing can stop Andy from going to the pub (who’s gonna buy his round, though?)

This is Andy we’re talking about here! Did anyone think a little rain would keep him away from the pub? :-D

Andy’s relationship to Water might be called indignant," seeing as that Water is a waste of non-Beer:Like how terrible It tastes:
Its capacity to cause pain:
. . . and the terrible things ‘non-leavened’ Water does:Well aal this just makes Him sick, it does: . . . for Beer.
