But …in very simplified and ideal conditions….

females have two X chromosomes and males have an X and a Y.

A baby always gets an X from the mother, so an X from the father makes her a girl, and a Y from the father makes him a boy.

So when I said Happy Father’s Day to those with kids and Y chromosomes I meant to the (XY) Dads, not the (XX) Moms.

The idea of 12 months of winter gives me the shivers. One month of winter is one month too many for me.

At least Edna looks happy contemplating the dancing; I’d rather do it than just read about it, OK to watch some on film while you dance or whatever. Doug doesn’t appear happy about anything (but his face may have just frozen in that expression ;-)
