And then that would be their last breath.

Notice he waited till they were sick of them before he offered.

    Good Morning All

    Good Morning!

Not only did they wait to share their tomatoes till they were sick of them…they waited till there were only two left, and they’re both either shriveled or they have bites out of them.

Sure, Glen… take all you want…. well, even though there aren’t many left, Glen CAN take all he wants…cos he wouldn’t want ANY of those.

The shorts that the Pennys and Her Royal Highness are wearing have been Sharpied over. What’s up with that?

Although anything is preferable to the (shudder) sheer swim trunks Burl was wearing yesterday.

    X

I wouldn’t let the Pennys breathe on my tomato plants.I’d prefer for them not to breathe in the same county as my tomato plants.

I don’t even like the words “the Pennys” to be breathed in the same sentence as “my tomato plants.”

    That might cover it.

Last breath, huh? Significantly, after he’d used it, fouled it, and was never going to need another one. How generous!

I never saw the Pennys (or any of their friends) eating anything healthy like a vegetable. Lets see, what could they do to tomatoes to make them into proper Penny fare? Deep fry? Bake with lots of sugar and butter?

I was disappointed to find my weight down a # today (was holding at 110) so I have to add in some extra carbs today to bring it up. I’ll have some fresh peach with my yogurt for a mid morning snack today. ☺

Or maybe tomato Betty? My mother made that, layer tomatoes (sprinkled with sugar) and well buttered bread slices and bake. I hated it. It would be simple enough even for Joy , And she could adjust the sugar level to Hazmat 2!

I hope they have more than a cast iron stomach if eating those tomatoes. They’re acidic enough to dissolve a chain link fence!

OK, I admit some of you actually came up with ways that Joy could ruin perfectly good tomatoes.I wondered about the sash too, and now see that the shirt has a crown motif. It is rather strange, but then, some folks wear shirts printed with a whole different body.

About 2 1/2 months a year, we have a tomato that is in season. It’s called a “Creole” tomato. And I’m telling you it is the most juicy, succulent, meaty tomato you could want. The thing down here is to make a creole tomato sandwich.Fresh slice bread, couple slices of creole tomato, mayo, salt, pepper……….and you think you died and went to tomato heaven.p.s. of course sometimes I have to put a couple slices of roast beef on that bread. hehehe yuuuuummmmmmmmmyyy
