Sigh… here in the Netherlands we have had only one season for the past few months: autumn. Today is another rainy day with temperatures well below the average. I kinda feel like Agnes.
DavidHG — I thought she was waxing philosophical, rather than expressing dismay….Soothed by life’s veracities and inevitabilities…finding solace in the notion that all things change and pass, …and knowing, therefrom, that neither life’s ups nor its downs are intransient.
The comfort lies in knowing that summer sun, winter snow, Grandma’s moods and the principal’s office are all but part of a cycle, each to be borne in its season, and in turn, from each to be released.
Philosophy lies ever heavy upon Agnes’ willing head.

Agnes apparently forgot to be comforted at the official season change …the summer solstice was just a week ago.You need to watch for these things.

Then just lean back on the beanbag and relax Agnes. It may not be the most comforting thing. But it’s a good second.

Till then, you’ll have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
