Mona may be onto a winner here. Show me a cat who will not be captivated by the idea of playing inside a large cardboard box. They can’t help it: As long as an escape route exists, they’ll colonise a box and make it theirs. It’s pre-programmed. So all Mona needs to do then is to close the ldi and tape it up firmly. But Mona being Mona… she’ll not pass up the opportunity to perform the Scrodinger’s Cat experiment for real, especially with regard to installing a random 50:50 cat-slaying device….
