The Rights of Man is pretty radical stuff. Thomas Paine did not make many friends, or get far politically, not that he cared.

I noticed the subtle changes in Luddie’s expressions. Would a cat person please interpret them for me?

Apparently the rights of man do not include getting to sit on the couch. Luddie has it all covered.

…my opinion is that luddie, like most people, HATES having anybody read anything to him from “their favorite book” – people’s tastes vary so much…I can’t stand it when one of my siblings says “let me read some of this to you…you’ll love it!” And I have to put on the ‘polite face’ and agree that yes, it was fascinating/excellent/hilarious/whatever, whether I thought so or not…
