Now he’ll be crabby all day.

Thanks for the heads-up, Lobsterman! It was a realistic seascape that Monty van Monty was painting when the surge came in…. As one of my old profs used to say, if you don’t want your feet to get wet, don’t stand on the shore.

I guess Monty’s painting career is already all washed up.

Or maybe he’ll be inspired to become a new wave artist.

Thanks to those who remarked upon my comment yesterday….LOL…. Actually, I was surprised to find that no one else had already said it.

Try an aqua blue, Monty….Aren’t oil paints, great? No problemo….Although volcanoes are still problematical….

And Monty got it on canvas… and on his head, and on his smock, and on his brush…

like grandpa used to say – “you have to use a wet brush kid….”

I especially like the little crab on his head signaling..TOUCHDOWN !

May be frame 2 needs a splash of color.

A golfer might say that he has been “waved on”.
