True, but the ore recent stuff isn’t that recent anymore. She’s been entered into the canon for a couple of decades at least. When was MAD LOVE published? She’s certaily worked harder than Lola Bunny, who appeared n one movie most people didn’t even like, and is treated as an equal with the Looney Tunes characters.
Costumes are fun but as someone who has not glanced at a comic book since grade school (’51), I always chose bird related costume (especially since O) and now I have many Medieval gowns.
Funny, I used to use a lot of names that were puns and wordplay. Now I tend to avoid them. “Harleen Quinzel” “Edward Nigma” And a lot of names in THE SPIRIT. Kinda fakey.
“Depends on how you define hero.” The punching bag to a killer psychotic clown is not my idea of a hero. (On a side note, I wish we could see more of Carolina as WW!)
My problem with Rita as Harley Quinn is that (at least as I remember it) Harley was portrayed as a sort of submissive, dependent kind of person, which is not how I think Rita views herself.
Hero. Not anti-hero, not villain. Hero. Of course, if your language is malleable, like Bubba Clinton’s, “hero” can mean whatever you say it means. Just makes you look stupid in front of people who know language.

I see 5 DC characters and only one from Marvel (tied with Total Television, who gave us Underdog). Kneel before Zod, Walt Disney!

Quite right, she started on “Batman: The Animated Series” and was so well recieved that she was grafted into the Comic Book continuity.

I kinda think Jay is more suited to the “Underdog” role than Ed.

Hey, every hero needs a villain, right?Frankly, I’m just surprised that Jay actually read the memo this time.

Carolina as Wonder Woman. Out of curiosity: Who would the other cast mmbers chosen?

Dana was suppose to be Scarlet Witch, which is fitting. I kind of think Ed should have been flash.

I’m impressed and surprised that Rita even knows who Harley Quinn is! She actually reads comics.

My favorite superhero is Power Girl, but I don’t think I would go to work dressed as her.

Dana came to work as Dana.

Actually, she’s standing right next to Ed, as Invisible Woman.
