that’s a great store! i rarely see people like that in wal-mart.

Here in south central MO, just north of the border with Arkansas, these people are everywhere not just in Walmart. They are white, Christian, far-right republicans. They end to eat white food- white potatoes, grits, biscuits, white-sop gravy, fat back, etc. A movie ‘Planet of the Blobs" could be filmed here. It’s also a big meth area. They really like guns- some sound like WW2 machine guns- and they have night-vision equipment. I often feel like a misplaced person.

You see worse people into mcdonalds at truck stops.

KSfarmgirl, your prejudice is showing. Guess you should move to someplace where you can hang out with the effete intelligentsia like you and eat quiche all day.

I don’t see many of “them” (Walmartians) where I live either, but I bet regular folk (whoever THEY are) hang out just to catch a photo of them. they always make me laugh. there but for the grace of God…….But it does make you wonder what some of them are thinking!! Have they no shame??

I have never been in a Wal Mart.

I bet a lot of them dress like that hoping someone will take a picture of them and post it. At our Target on Saturday was a man dressed in knee high boots, tights, a blanket with a hole cut out for his head, a sequin tank top, and a pony tail he could sit on. He stood outside for a while and then got up and went back inside. There were several people taking pics with their cell phones!

That’s coz you belong there Eno. You and your polka dot underpants help to boost other people’s self-esteems. Hell, they even boost mine.

I see a lot of freaks while driving a public transit bus.

Compared to some of those people, Eno, you look just fine to me.
