when I was younger that was called a Mental Health day from work and I would just lay back down and go back to sleep…….I got married and I have to get up because I am married to a man that gets up at 4am and NEVER sleeps in. sigh
In the early days of marriage, my mother expressed this as, “I don’t know whether to peel peaches or take a bath.” Of course, it has long been a family expression for this.
“Oh, my God, I’m turning into Earl as I age.”-Why do you think I love him so much? He’s my kind of people, well, except for him having more get-up-and-go than I do.

I think we’ve all had mornings like that. Usually, one is better off going back to sleep.
