Zipper: I know what you're going through, dude... My mom doesn't understand my process, either! She thinks my extended college career has been a complete waste of time! Jeff: What? IT's the larval stage of your greatness! Zipper: You tell her that! Here, I'll call her...

i thought the whole purpose of Congress was to get rich at the expense of the taxpayers. what? that isn’t Congress’ sole reason!! other than being surrogates for the Rich and to be like the Rich. what else is America for?

One of my brother’s college roommates is still in college. My brother has a PhD in Astrophysics and has been teaching for more than 20 years. I would say Trudeau used him as inspiration but the truth is, Zonker predates the friend so maybe it’s the other way around.

I spent 10 years getting a 4 year degree, but I must say that until about the 5th year I wasn’t really learning anything, just reviewing material I hadn’t understood the first two times, or so.
Even now most students don’t really understand the subject matter they were taught, or the subject itself, they just “monkey see monkey do” most of what they were taught on the job using the background they MIGHT remember of College, and hope they don’t commit a huge felony doing it.

I do begin to wonder whether they all got together and each took a day when they would play dumb and ask why we were in reruns, just to watch us getting madder and madder…

Jeff reminds me of a big fat Catawba worm eating up your ‘mater plant. Or maybe a fly. A fly eats s**t and bothers people. Now for today’s wrench in the works. Everyone wants to blame Bush and Cheney for lying about WMDs. If you will check your files on the news building up to the Iraq invasion, your eyes may be opened. I have no doubt they lied, but not in the way you may think. Right before the invasion, there were thousands of refugees and hundreds of truckloads of goods that crossed the Syrian border. Some of these trucks carried said WMDs into Syria. We knew Saddam had WMDs. I believe the Reagan or the Elder Bush administration knew he got them from somewhere. Saddam then used them on the Kurds. Saddam, with plenty of warning, sent them to fellow despot, Assad. I believe Bush and Cheney knew this also and were hoping to keep the pot stirred in the middle east. Good job, too. Now, the idiot-in-chief wants to “save” the “innocent” people of Syria. We need to stay out of this mess. I’m afraid it will cause us to be in the middle of WWIII. God save us all.
Now, my next bone is with those idiot Republicans. Boehner said he would dismantle Social Security and all other entitlement programs. Wait, did I not pay, a lot, all my working life for what passes as a retirement plan? Folks, we are in deep trouble and fighting amongst our selves is exactly what they all want us to do.
