Not nice to kick sand at the nicer beach houses or is that something Petey just wants to do.

I’m surprised Petey even touched a fish stick. Who knows what’s in those things.

Indigestion causes bad dreams which mirror an alternate reality. Petey is a Seer. Alice wants their beach house to be Nice; what if it isn’t? The thought is haunting….

Alice looks grumpy this morning. I wonder what dreams she had.

I’m surprised Petey didn’t go to bed hungry. He sure doesn’t seem to eat much.

I thought of Baba Yaga walking hut,, also. Now if Petey finds a witchy woman at the beach, he’s outa there.

Have you had a fish stick lately? They are fish twigs now, about two small bites.

This is probably an allusion to Little Nemo’s walking bed.

They’re at the ocean and eating fish sticks? What’s wrong with this picture?

If the beach house got up and walked to Nice would everybody be happy?

Lately, I just cannot believe how difficult Petey is! If he were my son, I’d try to get a nice couple of psychiatrists to adopt him. JK, but thank goodness he is in this lovely comic strip and not in my life, I don’t know what I’d do with the little fella.

I just looked in the archive all the strips are repeats from last year at this time.

Finally, someone has seen the light and has stopped colorizing the daily Cul de Sac strips. I hope this is a permanent change, crude fingerpainting does nothing to improve Thompson’s original pen and ink drawings.
