When I used to work l always look for the comics in my daily paper. Sunday was the best. I used to read the comics with my kids first thing in the morning. Now that l am retired, get the news on line and then Gocomics. The first two hours of my day belong to my cup of coffee, the news and Gocomics (in that order) after that, the rest of the chores l planned for the day. Is good to be retired!
Someone, expecting a scathing condemnation, once asked my elementary school principal how she felt about kids reading comic books. Her response: “At least they’re reading something.”
