Ah, the ubiquitous bottle opener ! Like American Express – Don’t leave home without it ! What with pop tops and twist offs, the church key a.k.a. bottle opener has become something of an anachronism. That said… I have one attached to my keys and never travel without a professional wine steward’s opener ( corkscrew, lever, and small curved blade ) the wino’s answer to a Swiss Army knife !
Lets’s all be Grumpy..Then there’s: Stroppy, Angry, Testy….Busty, Lusty…..Moody, Broody….Fatty, Scatty, Ratty, Batty……So many dwarves and not so many Wicked Queens.
In my youth, before twist off caps came along, I sometimes found myself without an opener. You would be surprised at how many ways you could think of to get those caps off. Especially if you’re hot and thirsty.

Yeah. The LED is tri color. It does red, green, blue and in between color mixes as it transitions from one to another. Red, orange, green, aqua, blue, etc. I am keeping just the first one I bought. Auntie will get two, if she wants two, one for Gretchen and the last can go to Ron or his lady friend, Maryann. -The finger tip will take some time to get “a lot better”. It is tender yet and probably wet. I have to take a shower and change the bandaid.-I have had people stick me and wouldn’t know it I weren’t watching. Some folks are more blunt with the needle than others. Pardon that pun !-I have been watching “Curious George” cartoons, like this one. 11:07 Minutes.I read the books in grade school. The ‘toons are pretty neat ! Nice, not hot day today.
My fingertip is much better now as it got hurt in February which is when my 4th donation was.
I’m sure that Ron, Maryann and Gretchen will love the lights also.
Curious George is adorable. I have never read the books but I saw a few of the cartoons on TV. Thank you for the very cute episode. I really love cartoon characters who are mischevious.
These guys for example:
Everytime I watch ‘Beavis and Butthead’ it’s impossible for me to keep a straight face. I don’t like to miss any episodes.
Who’s known what Gnomes guardin’ the Ghost Gardener Dept. :
Monday eye openers
Andy should buy a twelve pack of bottle openers and tape a couple into the case ‘e goes on ’oliday with.
Can I be Larry the Dwarf !?If I make the final shakedown, I will likely be the one you can’t see without a Geiger counter...Number Three said, 1 sneeze ago

I hope your week has started out great.
I like bad cartoons too, like Drinky Crow and South Park, but “Good” ‘toons are allowed in sometimes. Day started good and I made some homemade ketchup from a recipe I got online awhile back. It’s cheaper than paying 3 or 4 dollars for the “good stuff”.-I’m sure your finger fully recovered some time ago. I talked to my Aunt E. yesterday. ..Still having a rough go of it.A bright and productively fun day to you !..Wonder if the Chawkster will throw a link to that B&B Monster truck rally ??The “King of The Hill” cartoons are good too ! (same guy)
Congrats to the Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of an 8 lb. 6 oz. baby boy. Mother and child are reportedly doing well. If there is still a monarchy by the time this princeling reaches maturity, he’ll be 90 before he ascends to the throne. Once they’re on it, these Windsor’s don’t want to give it up !Andy’ll have something to drink to tonight !
Happy, Happy and Dopey were my FAVORITES. When my oldest was a wee one, he had DOPEY as one of his best buddies. Carried him with him everywhere. One night we came home from the grocery store, and Dopey was missing. Son was crying, we were looking EVERYWHERE for him. Hubby even went back to the grocery store and searched. I found him on the back porch, down in the porch swing! LOL! My son was SO HAPPY!
Odd how those Hockey-puckin’ Canuks were hanging around N.W. Europe posing for Lithos in the early 16th Century, a century + before heading West . . . .innit?
for some reason the song from 101 Dalmations keeps going thru my head…Cruella Deville, Cruella Deville, shes evil, shes mean, shes dastardly…(made up lyrics, just whats going thru the ole bean bag)…
