Not Sonoma County wine tasting.Kinda late for Friday’s ‘toon, but most busy today.
Not much to say on the “tasters” except that it was real. How is a guy supposed to become addicted if he’s alla time spitting ?

@Gweedo MurrayI am glad your truck passed it’s test. Did they used to be those type stickers where you had to scrape it off the windscreen because of the glue? That’s really annoying and takes up too much time.-I’m sure the shower curtain will look good when it’s up. Is it plain, patterned…etc?-I am so sorry to hear about Joe’s wife. Joe is now another person who is in my thoughts right now. I hope he is doing OK despite everything.
A very Happy Friday to you too!
Well, now it’s have a Super Saturday !-Joe’s wife went 3 years ago September. We drove some left over materials out to “the office” and then I drove us over to Home Depot. We talked to a guy and lamented the scant color choice of the two inch slat blinds. He sent us upstairs to look at a different selection of custom orderable blinds. We talked with Nancy, who got us squared away on something we can use. Joe saw it as 12 dollars more than what it would cost for one of the previous ones. The color is called “Peru”, what Joe describes as pecan. Don’t ask me what I think of meaningless words to convey colors… The new blinds will be made to exactly fit the window hole. It has two sets of pull strings; the left to angle the slats and the right to raise and lower them. The slats even have notches so that you can actually remove them for cleaning. They will be shipped directly here; arrives in two weeks or less. -I put the shower curtain rod on earlier and tested the curtain. Looks like it’s going to work. I will have to redrill and set the one end of the pole a bit lower as it is experiencing a “hill” effect. (tilted) The curtain itself is a plain jane frost effect. -Yes ! Our old style stickers were laborious to remove. The inspection people go in with the razor blade tool and scrape scrape scrape. I believe their tool has a longer handle for reaching that corner sticker. Aside that.. I never did like the obstruction on the glass. New York state still has their stickers on the window. They cheesed the design so that if the sticker gets wet it will come undone. I am glad I don’t live in the east now. I feel like I am going to a backwards place when I am there. That is one groovy cat !.

You little home decorator, you. …….etc……..
I am sorry you have/are dealing with lackluster people. Owners conversely, also deal with crappy tenants. We enjoy good relations here. Joe is an old time country boy. I would dearly love to own my own place after this as I wouldn’t want to go back to some arms-length distant type association. Mr. Butler is an inveterate handy man and did pretty much all the repairs on properties in town that he and another one or two were partners on years ago. I hope to get 4 more new double glaze vinyl windows in before winter. The old single pane ones leak pretty bad..John Pike said, about 8 guzzles ago
I really must agree with Andy. You just don’t waste beer.
Why not ?! It wastes YOU !! .Safe travels, beviek !
@BuggerlugsHilarious “Pogo” today. Some days I agree that women are just as much bad luck as Friday the 13th. (Then again, other days they can be lots of fun………..)
Sorry about that. I thought you meant that she had died recently. Joe is still in my thoughts anyway. I am glad you managed to find the blinds you were looking for.-My Dad moved the ‘pull strings’ of my bedroom blinds to the right hand side as he thought it would make it easier for me to open and close them from where I was standing instead of leaning over to the left where they used to be. Though to be honest I found it easier when they were on the left hand side as I’m left handed myself. But it’s OK on the right hand side too.-Those stickers really are irritating and when you try to pick them off something then bits of the sticker gets up your fingernails. That makes me shudder every time.-I hope you are well today and that your weekend got off to a great start.-The cat is indeed groovy!
I’ve been on a few canals (Shropshire Union, Trent and Mersey, Liverpool, Suez) , but never in one. Incidentally, the view from the Pontcysyllte viaduct is something to behold.

Can’t make Omelets w/out stomping some Shells. Jus sayin’ easier to Conga after grabbing some Glutes vs. wasting-away.

I know this technically isn’t a Conga Line but It likely isn’t a Thamesa Line either so I don’t know.

You’d think by now Andy would have the canal marked on his internal map. It’s just that his infernal mind is so befuddled, I reckon.

The second panel is awesome. The thing I like about comic strips is the ’sound effect’ type of text.xxx
