    You can disbelieve current evolution theory. Heck, most people have no idea what current theory is, they all think it’s Darwin.

    Umm.. evolution is a generational thing, not an individual thing. It just states that organisms that are healthier and live longer are more likely to have offspring, which will inherit traits from their parents. Kind of hard to argue with, really. Add in tiny mutations (which pretty obviously happen all the time,) and over enough generations you wind up with things that are quite different from their common ancestors.

    Hello NG:Yes, I’m aware of that; in fact, it accounts for gradualism in some parts of the fossil record, and for quick evolution, hence punctuationalism, in others. Tracking the environment is what natural selection does best! And sometimes the environment changes rapidly; sometimes slowly.Of course, if the environment changes too rapidly, natural selection may not be able to keep up, and extinction results.
