Grab a paint brush Opal.

I don’t think Earl’s taking the hint.

This won’t end well for Earl.

He could get hurt. I believe I would at least volunteer to buy the paint.

Opal wants Earl to do it so she can criticise his work afterward. If she does it, she’ll have to shut up.

He’ll end up with paint on his head. She’ll invite him out to the garage first…

Wait until she points out that 1. if she does it alone he’s going to be sleeping on the couch for a week and 2. if she hires someone to paint it it’s going to cost a fortune. Should get him up and moving in about five seconds.

Yep, been there and still there wit the spousal unit…always thinking…just thinking.

hubby and I share the load……………a room needs painting, we do it together. Oh, and we’re not as “old” as Opal and Earl appear to be, but we aren’t that far off!

I wonder if their son in law who we never see might do it for a fraction of the cost. Maybe a few meals would sweeten the deal.

I’ve been thinking…I year now of painting the entire house. Should be ready to do it this year

My mother and I always painted the interior and she was a fanatic about getting the right shade. She also painted the exterior because every time my Dad got vacation it rained all week. My sweet daughter-in-law did my last paint job even tho she was ill (which she did not tell me).

I love to Paint, it is relaxing to me
