Okay, here’s the counter-tee-shirt deal: we get Gary a tee that says “I’m just misunderstood.” Does anyone think the suburbanites with the torches and pitchforks will stop to read it? Or that, if they do, they will suddenly become friendly to Gary?

He’s just the victim of media misrepresentation.

I remember a cosmetic commercial from years ago. A gorgeous model’s line was “Don’t hate me because I am beautiful. Use ……….. cosmetic, and you can have beautiful skin”, or whatever it was that the product would do for you.

It’s all Gary’s fault. Since he moved in with his henchman, all kinds of ghosts, 60 ft women, and strange little girls have started showing up, And neighbors have disappeared.

@scrabblefiend: the ad was for Pantene shampoo, and the model/actress was Kelly LeBrock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hz8ul-gmLyA

Wouldn’t the hatred of a thousand suns burn a vampire?

That whole, “I hate you with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns” bit was a line from the sit-com, “Cheers.” I believe it was Diane Chambers who said it to Sam & Sam’s response was, “Somebody’s cranky.” :p
