I once read, in an Edgar Rice Burroughs novel so consider the source, that a rabbits foot is only lucky if you caught the rabbit under the dark of the moon. (ie. new moon) Many times I’ve wondered if that’s the original myth or not. Now that the Internet exists, I should check it out. =)

I hear male rabbits get lucky a whole bunch…

I remember just after my wife and I were married my wife and I was living with her parents they had roast rabbit for dinner and my wife told her mother I’m not going to eat that and I know John won’t when I came in my wife told me to ask her mother what we were having for supper, I did and she told me, I said oh I just love rabbit my wife didn’t speak to me for a week.

Rabbit’s feet Are big, so he calls it as he sees it… ;)

Eating rabbit sure helped a lot of us through the Depression years.
