Slippery slopes are all downhill.

I know it rolls downhill, but why am I always livin’ in the valley?

I do see his point, but there is a saying that’s been around for quite some time:“Things are going downhill”, which means they are getting worse.

Such language. Where’s the soap?

Also, a snowball goes faster and faster downhill until it gets so big that it can consume you. At least it’s that way in cartoons.
