Happy… thank you for illustrating my post….The one about the chandelier and the….um…. new attic light.LOL.
The big chandelier here in the Tiki would be hard to drag, cos it’s held in place by giant bolts and some very strong chains….
The Monkey has a habit of swinging and/or sleeping on high objects….what a surprise….and some of us (not saying who)didn’t want to work directly under what became simian gym equipment ,and insisted that it be made more secure….It’s strong enough now that even Sid can nap there.
“We” should have also asked for a way to raise and lower it…. cos now it has another problem…..(and of course the Monkey knows nothing about it…. LOL…. )
<I’m glad I thought of all that, cos tonight the little monkeys are here….
Hey guys…. whose night is it to go get the banana peels…C’mon now…. you don’t all need to do it……
It’s his wife’s fault. She has been working out for the Ballard Street OlympicsUsing the porch rail for the Balance Beam training. She did a twisting back flip preparing for dismount. She was so awesome the porch rail failed. She of course will deny all this. But seismographs all over the world recorded the incident as a 5 on the scale.Tsunami warnings are up.
…and meanwhile, Gary has decided that he, too, needs to attend the meeting at the Tiki tomorrow morning. And, maybe it IS time to schedule that physical for himself, as well….
NOTICE;Due to the larger than expected response to yesterday’s invitation to meet Mike Holmes, the meeting has been moved to the Tiki Parking Lot and Slot Car Track. Thank You
Way difficult posting today- have to keep hitting the tab! @Bev- navy and lime green??
Sounds a little like the décor of my room as a teen (actually forest (very dark bluish green) and chartreuse) or a nail fungus. I prefer pink/red shades and/or metallics.
My middle son called yesterday to tell me he was driving his new metallic red Lexus convertible I hope this isn’t a midlife crisis (he’s only 52)
Yikes! After seeing Carl’s wiring problem yesterday, and Gary’s rotted railing today, I can only imagine how crowded the meeting tomorrow at the Tiki will be…sure hope the Sherif will be there to maintain order, and that Stel covers the proceedings for the paper for those of us not able to be present in the morning. I hate to miss Mike being there, though…
It wouldn’t have been my…. well…. my very first choice……but as I always tell my clients…..if you’re happy, I’m…. OK, I’m willing to … well….er…. what is it I say?
Oh Bev…. I think they could do it… and they love to find new jobs.
They’re very hard workers… in fact, sometimes they get a little TOO enthusiastic….monkeys are like that (even the Sheriff) …. Stel found one still working on the chandelier today!
And they do move from crystal to crystal by swingingIt’s another monkey thing…. not sure they have any other way to do it.
But as long as you keep an eye on them at first, and tell them when to slow down, or help each other, they will.
DAZZ, saw your comment somewhere about your photo of your red kitchen appliances picture at Working Daze. I always read that, but usually not the comments. I did look over there, and I noticed you have the white lovebird candy dish which I have. I wonder how much they are worth now? Any idea?

In this case, Cleo should be grateful to not find her match. Ballard Street worthy.
