I’m not sure whether it’s volume or disdain in a “no” that conveys the least hope for a future “yes.”

So I’d probably pick disdain, cos while it could be the most psychologically damaging, it’s less believable when forewarned….and it’s much quieter.

I got pierced once, didn’t much like it …23 stitches, but the arrest was made and my piercer got 18 months in the calaboose.

Agnes, no matter how well it’s working out for ye at the moment, don’t let peer pressure rule your life.Besides, you already pierced your cranium last week with a pencil..WHEN WILL THE MADNESS STOP?

Susan, Susan….do I sense a series of unfulfilled Christmas wishes here?? Less pony-and-doll-buggy and more argyles-and-longies? Oh, the humanity….!

I was 34 when I finally got my ears pierced. My sister dragged me to the mall and surprised me with my birthday present. I have to admit I’ll never forget that birthday. It must have been MUCH better than Susan Newman’s Christmas argyles.

Next Hanukkah, treat yourself to EIGHT piercings. :-)

Careful what you ask for Agnes. Grannie might OK a piercing. Tongue piecred to roof of mouth. Or lips pierced together. ….Then no more questions for grannie to answer. ;-)
