Being an artist type myself, I fully understand….

So why is Phoebe’s mom – an artist – “shopping for school supplies” in an art supply store? A little self-absorbed, wouldn’t you say? Reminds me of how Mom used to take all four of us boys shopping for school clothes… at LaPointes, which, of course, was a woman’s fashion beautique. They did have a very small section of kids and mens stuff down in the cellar. But I always wondered why she would take us there instead of Sears or Penny’s…. until I realized that we had to walk past acres of ladies things to get to the cellar things.

I feel the same way about high quality engineering notebooks.

Nice to know mom still has a kid alive in side her. I wounder what dad is like at the game store? Also my mom gets that way too some times.

It’s ballpoint pens for me, I have more than I’ll ever use but I can’t resist buying a different or unusual looking one.

Mom is finally adorkable.

You know, it never harms a parent to shop for herself when she is getting school supplies for the kids. And if it is all on sale, that just works out great for everyone.

Went through an artist phase and took classes. No talent, but all the stuff you used was so cool! It was fun to paint with other people, too.

Mom is showing her inner artist.. I have seen 3 D printer art and it is fantastic. It’s another tool in the artist’s toolbox.

I don’t know if he is still there, but someone was showing, and selling 3D Mandelbrot Sets made on a 3D printer.
