Costco’s pumpkin cheesecake….Yum.

Pumpkin is a season! The warm spice in the air, cinnamon and nutmeg… and face it- I’m a ginger, and I look best in autumn colors. I’m quite happy for the heat to go away so I can get out my sweaters and my fuzzy socks.:-)

Yes it is, so sayeth the prophet Linus.

Does Einstein Brothers Bagels company still make Pumpkin Schmear spread? Good on a plain or raisin begin, a little overkill on a pumpkin bagel, though.

My mother used to make pumpkin scones when we lived in Australia. I don’t know anyone who uses the pumpkin for food in the UK.

He should change his name to Gourd.

Pumpkin pie and eggnog!

I like pumpkin because it’s the flavor of my favorite real season: fall!

I believe Adam, I believe. Pumpkin is the best season of them all!

I might get booed from the comments today but I don’t like pumpkin. Probably because I never had it growing up. My grandma was from the south and we always had sweet potato pie instead of pumpkin.

You can buy pumpkin and make pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread anytime. You don’t have to wait for fall.

Last week my favorite pizza parlor had pumpkin-flavored chocolate chip cannollis (they’re good!). I have pumpkin spice creamer to put in my pumpkin spice tea to eat with my pumpkin bagels and pumpkin English muffins. Last year my sister found pumpkin spice I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter to put on them. Pumpkins are the world’s greatest vegetable!

I’ve gotten them from Walmart, and also pumpkin English muffins! Last year I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter had a pumpkin spice flavored version out. They’re all pretty good.

Pumpkin pie and pumpkin chai are okay. I avoid the cinnamon and nutmeg because I’ve never liked either. I avoid the eggnog because I HATE eggs and am a teetotaler.

Pumpkins are on sale but usually only used by kids at Halloween. Ethnic “minorities” might use them for food, though.
