“Could you give me an example of something that contradicts a theistic belief?”
Generally, anything which is a testable belief. Some assertions that immediately come to mind are, from fundamentalist Christianity, :
1. The Earth is 6,000 years old.2. Dinosaurs and humans co-existed3. There was a flood which covered the entire earth within human history.4. It is physically possible to fit two of all living creatures into a boat, the dimensions of which are described in Genesis.
Most of the respondents have it correct. God is def not a physical being, rather a spiritual one with the capacity to create, enjoy, love, one that has awesome intelligence and unlimited power with unlimited authority. If your god is anything less than that, it is a man-made god. Man reflects many of those same attributes [short of unlimited power, intellect etc.] That is what distinguishes man from the animals. Man was made in God’s image [with the breath of God in him] all of the rest of creation is far inferior. Man has an eternal soul, animals do not. Man knows instinctively what is morally wrong, animals do not. Hence, man did not evolve from the animals else animals would have similar attributes.
And God created the healthful yogurt, that woman might keep her figure that man found so fair.###########
When I first arrived in SE Europe, I was asked if it were true as they had heard, that American women ate yoghurt to lose weight. I said yes, that is so, which they thought screamingly funny….
I’ve taken to believing that the story of the Arc, as well as the story of the Creation, is mostly symbolic. What the symbolism is I’m not sure yet. I’ll have to see what Aquinas said about it.

We are made in God’s spiritual image. If we were made in God’s physical image, He never would have allowed the invention of the 3-way mirror.

they are misreading the Bible. It‘s a spiritual image, not physical one, God is a spirit and does not have a physical bones, flash and bones…

Hi Thirdguy. I figured I needed to either write one line on this topic today, or 7,000. I decided to opt for the shorter approach.

Actually, G-d is quoted as saying “in our image” (note the use of the plural.

God did not take our form. He honored us with the similarity of his form. Man was not originally sinful.

The Bible actually proves that there is no God. Itsays so in so many words in at least two places. You could look it up.
