    Really? I thought that that last panel was more a reflection of feeling like he struck oil or gold, since he wished for a challenge and in walks five bichon frises covered in very sticky tar.

    Sir if you insist on creating a horrible disaster then your gonna have not only de-tar the dogs but the cats the fish and any other innocent animal you’ve tarred including that turtle,racoon,and squirrel.

    The plural (or quintet in this case) is Bichons Frisés; it’s pronounced the same as the singular, Bichon Frisé.

    All due respect, Paul, I’m guessing you’ve never been to a groomer much less been one. I’ve known more who have had nervous breakdowns than have died of boredom. The drama of multiple spoiled / scared / nervous / excited / savage canines, shoved together in a strange environment with strange people, etc., etc., is many things. Boring is not one of them!
