After a 14-hour (at least) flight from Australia, Quill must be running solely on adrenalin at this point. He might last through the dance, but he will be so passed out tomorrow that he will remember nothing….

Luann and Quill show up, everyone goes to talk to Quill, Tiffany send them back to work, Quill starts to help, and then Luann drags him off. So Luann obviously didn’t being Quill to the gym so that they could help decorate – she brought him there to show off, especially in front of Tiffany. Waiting a few more hours until the dance itself just wasn’t good enough.

that’s my grandparents’ generation (and I’m a grandparent myself) but I remember watching “old” movies on TV Sunday afternoon when I was kid. Eddie Cantor, Shirley Temple and lots of musicals. I’d gorge myself on them.

Toni is way out of Brad’s league too- but that didn’t stop Evans… ^Physically, Toni is generally characterized as someone whom “every man” would want to be with… but her character so far has shown that she herself takes more into account than just looks or money… she at times seems to be more world-wise than Brad, and yet she has been known to show that she also has a “learning curve” (reference the “mail-box incident”)… -The big difference between “glamorous, pretty people”/ “Hollywood types”/ “Successful” professional ‘power people’ and the “rest of us” is only in how much they may spend for their kids’ diapers, groceries, etc. (amount, not brand) or their ‘ability to retain a good lawyer’… in other words, ‘pretty people’, etc. get the same headaches as the rest of us, have the same worries and fears as the rest of us, have the same life needs as the rest of us, and are also hindered by their human limitations, just like the rest of us.. – All of that being said, Toni and Brad’s relationship seems to be a wonderful thing, for the simple fact that instead of “the unattainable” having pity on the “cast off of socciety’” and allowing him to be in a relationship with her, it’s more so about two human beings wanting and needing things, recognizing and valuing each other for those things… as pretty and smart as Toni is, she recognizes that she is a human being and is very down to earth.. Brad isn’t fielding any offers to pose on “GQ” or to host his own talk show, but he knows what is right and wrong in life and Toni loves him for this and other things, and He of course loves her for her qualities… and that’s just the surface of things, here… while the rest of the world focuses on social “classes”, they both have ‘graduated’ and don’t have to feel stuck in ‘class’ , anymore…..

Gee, telling someone they need to pick up a suit and get dinner is being a control freak. You must be a very sensitive soul. I don’t recall you raising a similar objection to Tiffany screaming at people to get to work on the decorations, though. I guess you suffer from ‘selective sensitivity’. If Tiffany barks, you’re fine with it. If Luann says something, ‘just look at his face.’

I wonder how long it will take Quill to get fed up with ending all his sentences with “Yes, dear.”

Greg and Karen would say that they just carpooled to the dance… Karen would probably cut in on Lu and Quill for a dance…. or a few, actually….I mean, it’s not like Luann will be able to say no to her… once she has daddy pull out the eraser for a second….

To me, as I looked at it, I took it to be a wall that he’s putting up the posters on, and I can see how it may appear as if all of those lines around the earth were “staples”… – I think, too, those lines, aforementioned, around the globe on that poster are supposed to be “rays” emanating from the earth (and would even look like staples, especially since the poster is drawn with a downwards slant to the right, and given where the staple gun is)… the actual staple is the one in the top left-hand corner, and the other (sloped) corner is supposed to be the spot where Knute is stapling…

t the hammer in Knute’s tool belt has turned around from panel 1 to panel 3 ^Which Knute probably did by accident… he accidentally turned it around the right way. He probably will be “mindful to not make that mistake again”… – Or what really happened, Quill showed up and quietly turned it ariound, when Knute wasn’t paying attention… which means Quill did it without Knute even being the wiser….

And the poster of the globe was also drawn by Gunther…
