Boy, that “horse” looks uncomfortable. Wrangling might be the least of his troubles later.Serving Roy Rogers tonite? I would like one for a nightcap, with a splash of cherry vodka, please. Thanks, the Tiki looks so cosy tonite with the fire in the fireplace and all.
I never liked Roy, Tom or Hop-a-long; cowboys were something for my little brother. Surprising that I finally moved to the “Wild West”
Even stranger that Scottsdale calls itself authentic “Old West” LOLOLOL! At least Cave Creek is right up the road from my house. I enjoy the events there (more so when Cuddles went with me). I was much heavier here but I had my tricked out hat with the sterling and marquisate (and pretty feathers). This was a trick rider That’s enough cowboys; we need the Indians (and this little guy loved Cuddles)
He has wrangled the dog. The cat is nowhere to be found – imagine that?! So that takes care of the livestock. The only item left is you, m’dear. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, “say no more, eh?”)

Looks like he’s heading for the last roundup or he’s been drinking the last of the roundup.

Does the Tiki have a Roundup Special?
SusanSunshine Premium Member about 11 years ago
I guess I gotta mosey in and wrangle the little monkeys for a bit….
How’s it going, guys?
SusanSunshine Premium Member about 11 years ago
Sure, X … drink or dinner?
x_Tech about 11 years ago
Roundup Special: When the bar closes you round up all the drinks and toss them in the blender.
Think I’ll go with the dinner if it’s like a 2in. Yak steak with all the fixin’s.
SusanSunshine Premium Member about 11 years ago
Naw, X…. our round-up dinner is a bowl of the Monkey’s famous chuck-wagon chili, a big piece of spit-roasted yak, and a cup of cowboy coffee….
The round-up beverage… we actually call it the Trail Rider …is a straight shot of Jack, with branch water back.
We don’t mess around at the Tiki..

Of course you can get the steak any time you want.

There you go, X… enjoy.

In case everyone else forgets… HAPPY BIRTHDAY. . . . . RIVERHAWK
SusanSunshine Premium Member about 11 years ago
Dazz…. I know Riverhawk a bit from his occasional posts elsewhere, but I have never seen him here….
We welcome new Ballard St. friends and neighbors, of course….. but so far, apparently few on this forum know him.
We give each other birthday cakes and parties here….
amongst people who post to each other almost daily.
But it’s a lot of work, and doesn’t happen automatically….
That said….Riverhawk, if you DO find your way here somehow… welcome…. and Happy Birthday!
Perhaps next year by this time, you’ll be a neighbor!
