Leslie Barks is right. To Leo, Drew is the babe. Leo’s boss, on the other hand, is really smart and knows that the correct play is to back Leo up on this subject.
To pick up on a few comments from yesterday (if I post there now no-one will ever see them…), the world was NOT watching Colorado yesterday. New York, New Jersey, Virginia, yes – covered over here in the UK on the BBC; Colorado got a line in one tabloid (Daily Mail), so far as I can see, probably so its readers could tut and say “what IS the world coming to…?”
And, as a Skins fan since Theismann was handing off to Riggins, can I suggest that if they are really becoming an embarrassment in your capital, the solution might lie over here in ours? We sold out two NFL games in a couple of days this year, and have three slotted in for next. I’m sure we would be very happy to take the Skins franchise off your hands and rename them the London Monarchs. They can still play in the NFC East, jut a bit further east than they used to.
How can readers be so blind? Drew is bearing the crushing burden of “hotness” and knows that Leo understands such “burdens”. It’s clear that she left barely in time to avoid a mad affair with Leo.
I dunno, my cats spend an inordinate amount of time grooming themselves, resulting in more hairballs than I care for.I guess we should brush them more, if only they would let us.
I think what a woman looks like matters for about the first twenty seconds. After that it’s what’s behind the looks that matters. In that regard, Alex and Drew are about equal — both are fine people.

Well, sure she does. But the reality of the situation is that as soon as a ‘Drew’ comes into the picture, the whole thing becomes warped by the influence of the poison testosterone. What Alex knows at the moment is pretty much eclipsed by what she feels, and even knowing that feeling isn’t entirely appropriate doesn’t help much when the place is so deeply awash in testosterone that nothing exists for them but the target of the Big T!
She’ll get over it. She knows better than to think they are serious, even. But it’s annoying all the same.
Saw John Goodman on the Daily Show last night, talking about Alpha House. Apparently, Jon Stewart is also a fan of GT. I hope they can make a go of it since Alpha House is only going to be on Amazon, no other outlet.
