Elvis was the King of Rock and Roll for his generation. He lost his crown to the Beatles (or The Stones, depending, on your point of view). Others will tell you that Michael Jackson was the King.
No one ever talks about a Queen of Rock and Roll. I guess women are not allowed that privilege.
