    bingo! Don McClean’s line from Bye Bye Miss American Pie referring to Buddy Holly’s death and the assumption to the throne of’ king of rock and roll’ by Elvis was the only reference I could think of using the term ‘jester’.that and the Danny Kaye movie “the Court Jester”hint, think:The pellet with the poison’s in the flagon with the dragon! The vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true!

    Elvis was the King of Rock and Roll for his generation. He lost his crown to the Beatles (or The Stones, depending, on your point of view). Others will tell you that Michael Jackson was the King.

    No one ever talks about a Queen of Rock and Roll. I guess women are not allowed that privilege.

    I always wanted to go to some place where you can make your own bumper stickers and drive right past Graceland with a sticker reading
