Andy (like always) sure can’t do ANYthing by himself. (What was Andy doing with Chalkie’s mobile phone in the first place [before the bath] anyway? I also bet Chalkie’s looking high and low for it at his own place and all over town.)
I prefer the Capps to be more primitive: there’s something really jarring about Andy (or Chalkie) having a mobile phone. Plus, the old metal (and mobile) tub with Flo having to haul in buckets of hot water for Andy was just funnier!
By the way, if it’s songs about husbands executing their treacherous wives (and it’s very interesting that Andy is singing that song……), a much MUCH better one would be Johnny Cash and “Delia’s Gone.” I don’t know how to post it, though, so if anybody who does would like to? I still think Andy and Flo are funniest when they’re primitive, without any conveniences more modern than let’s say from about 40 years ago.
The tag didn’t used to say the “Lou” part. She has a nice blue synth fabric collar now. I like it better than the big clunky leather one she used to have. If she were my pup I would just take the bloody thing off when she is at home. Once in awhile it is off. I like the uninterrupted feel of no collar on a hound. ‘Puppy-Dog’ is quite the mean growly barker if she doesn’t like somebody. I brought Heather to the fence to get them off to a good start. -Their previous two dogs were already here when I moved in and so always barked at me like I was some stranger, even after two years and more. Each one, a chocolate Lab and a yellow Lab, eventually succumbed to old age. It was like…. a couple years (?) before a “kid” with the fresh scrubbed puppy dog girl next door look showed up in the yard one day. Black Labs are my fave of the lot and so I made a point to ‘introduce myself’… and it’s been sweet sailing ever since. -Thank you for your endorsement of my comic cutups !-Didn’t do any window work today but did scrub the kitchen floor, now that we are done with so much in and out. Heather was in so we talked about stuff and just gabbed. -GOSH ! You are such a sickly kid. Will you make twenty ? I have a bit of trouble myself when it is cold aand wet. Lately has been more cool and dry. I will have to set the alarm for wake up now that the season is changing. I am used to daylight helping me get up and it’s all dark these days.-I got through the remaining Comedy parts last night.-To help you recover…Emo. again-May your Sunday have some…___________________________________________
That’s sweet. What I like is when dogs noses are wet. When they sniff the palm of my hand, I always feel the wetness of their nose. It’s a bit ‘eww’ but it shows they are healthy and that’s all that matters.-I love the winter a lot more than summer at least people can sleep better in the winter nights. I don’t mind the dark mornings at all. I like the dark.-Thank you for the two links. I enjoyed them a lot. Especially the scuba diving part towards the end in the second video.-I’m not that sickly. It’s common at this time of year to catch colds. My cold has gone now anyway. The one I had 2 months ago only lasted a day or two also. I’m pretty sure I’ll live to be 20 years old if that’s what you meant by “Will you make twenty?” -I hope you have a nice Sunday.
@Gweedo MurrayThanks for posting “Delia’s Gone”, you’re an officer, a gentleman, a scholar, and a former ghost!@Chalkie jThanks to you, also. I might take you up on your offer to email you. I can post lyrics but I don’t know how to post videos. (Plus, you’re so interesting on here that I think I’d have my email inbox improved considerably to have you in it……….)
I’ve found the copy “Let’s Salute” 1985 hits the highs significantly more-consistently but that’s just mi. BTW by this time [1977-83] the language had been sanitized significantly; nary an ’E, Yer, nowt or summat in-sight.
This one was both topical and funny. It reminds me that cell phones are saving me almost as much gas(maybe more) as I am spending on my total phone bill. I can call my wife from the store to see if I have everything, and vice versa. Now, I can’t even ask my wife when she is in the next room for this same service. She says II should think things through.

I’ve heard “Delilah” is the name of Andy’s Snooker Cue. No proof tho.

Can’t remember seeing Flo actually at work. Always see her coming or going. With smudges on her nose.

I always hated that song, not to mention the singer…. The strip isn’t bad, 7/10

At the Laziest Man in the World contest, I’ll get honorable mention, but Andy will be the undisputed King…

Every day I feel so sorry for Flo even when she isn’t included in the strips some days.
Is that the only song Andy knows?
