Greg has also said that he’s with everybody, and he feels the same as everybody… he’s stated that he doesn’t like seeing all the sex portrayed everywhere (on TV and the net) but that he will address issues of sex as he sees fit to do… but he’s also stated that he won’t alienate one group or another…so there is only our perceptions/perspectives/points of view, which he has stated that he will neither confirm, nor deny (it would be nice if the ‘Cartoonist Studio’ site was finally “remodeled” so people could see his blog on it)…

I’m not so sure a program beats a system. Doesn’t one have to run programs on a system? And, basically, Frank does not win against Nancy. That’s a given.

It’s because the strip is, ostensibly, about Luann and the drama of a teenager growing up, and an inherent part of that story is dealing with boyfriends and kissin’ and huggin’ and heavy breathin’. We can assume Frank and Nancy have relations, but I don’t recall a strip where it’s directly referred to. If there is, it’s a rarity. The point is that the sex lives of the adults in the strip is no more relevant to the theme of the strip than would be their use of the toilet. Some things can be taken for granted. Or you can choose to believe that they have not yet consummated their relationship if you want; it’s really neither here nor there.

I would have commented yesterday, but I don’t always have the luxury of being able to hang out online all day.

I thought the “system” in the DeGroot household is that Nancy proclaims something and Frank says “Yes, dear.” He loses less hair worrying, that way.

Maybe it’s medical subtlety, but is there a reason she’s dressed like a Star Fleet medical officer? (Original ‘Star Trek’ of course.)

Wow, what’s your archive source? I looked for those strips but the farthest back I could find was 2001. I’ll take your word for it.

Okay, so four days out of 28 years. The rest of my quote was " If there is, it’s a rarity." That would hardly mean they haven’t been having relations, just that it’s not usually directly referred to, and I’d assume the same would hold true for Brad and Toni.
