Tunnel of love a “wild ride” – never rode one. but I imagine its about the same as the “lazy river” that so many resort pools have here (although that’s usually tubing- no boat).
I always envisioned a boat ride more like the old “Shoot the Chutes” where my fingers were smashed against the tunnel wall. (took last 1/2 inch off my longest finger on right hand and required stitches down to the lowest knuckle). My finger nail eventually grew in very crooked, and scar still shows, so I never wear jewelry on right hand.
I see this time the college T is our local ASU (another “party school”) and I have no connection to it. None of my kids went there (though some attended Carbondale back in IL for Bachelors) and grand kids all have good schools.
I never finished college because my parents did not give permission to study architecture and there was nothing else I cared to study, so I obliged them with grandkids (all they ever cared about me doing). In all the years they never appreciated that I was self-taught in my field and was able to do engineering and CAD programming (I wrote all the routines for co-workers to set up drawings in desired scale with predetermined line widths, text scale and all the other factors so entire teams could do a consistent drawing set.
That company has continued to grow since I left and when I returned for a visit last year the new folks I met on the elevator knew my name (so they may still be using my system).
One of those restaurant impossible shows lately said that 20-30% should be the aim in pricing food and booze. I’m glad to usually eat at home. My ideal is to eat out about once a month in fine dining to gather really good ideas or eat something that I don’t have equipment to prepare.

Something kinda kinky about 2 couples going in the tunnel of love ….
Burl’s right the scrambler would be better they all will be squished on one side.
But will the Penny’s try to get both couples in the same boat also??

Yoopergirl…. does that mean you get it?Cos I’m kinda lost.
Cell phones on a wild ride?
Or is Burl suggesting something… a bit more….. well, let’s just say I don’t think such things ever enter his mind.
If it never appeared on mainstream TV by the mid-1990’s, Burl has never heard of it.
In fact I’m surprised he knows what a cell phone is.
BTW…. “How much for the four of us?”Wow… had that question come from a Penny or a Shemp…. nobody here would bid a plugged nickel.

Sorry, Leaky, but it looks like Alabama will still be #1 after tonight.
