This brings up many deeper thoughts than even someone who likes to be verbose cares to expound upon in a comments area.

I like to enjoy my evils, while considering myself a good person. I try to be careful never to hurt others or their property but can use my own with reckless abandon. I am honest to a fault and always keep my promises and I find it difficult to understand those who choose to be dishonest I believe there is absolute evil and many lesser degrees of it. Therefore I have to believe in absolute good as well.

There are Laws and Commandments that govern our existence. Gravity is of them. When someone steps off a cliff, they have the freedom to deny that gravity exists but the result of the fall being stopped by the ground never factors that belief into the equation. When someone makes a promise to keep one of the 10 Commandments and he does keep the Commandment, there will be consequences that are linked to keeping that Commandment. The equation of cause and effect does not factor in that someone denies G o d’s existence..We know that other laws can affect the equation of the Law of Gravity. Planes use the airfoil effect. .So too, Repentance of a violation of a Commandment and acceptance of a Savior can affect the consequences associated with breaking a Commandment..Have a Nice Day.
