Hand me my BB gun, Jarvis! Thanksgiving draws near! Of course sir!... As you know, it is tradition for a Lord of Nuttingham manner to provide fresh game for all celebratory banquets! Indeed! Everything in place Bonnard? There, sir... At the base of that distant elm... I believe I saw some movement... Goodbye, Jarvis! Pop! Plunk Well placed sir!... Directly onto the roasting pan! And fortunately it appears to be a 22 lb featherless variety similar to the specimen I beg last year!

Straight through the cranium. Puppet or no, it was a pretty good shot.

Clint Eastwood would have shot through the strings and the turkey would have ridden off on the back of a dachshund

It is indeed a very good shot, especially with a BB gun, which usually doesn’t have much range. In fact, a through-and-through with a BB on a turkey’s head is suspicious. MaybeJarvis squeezed off a quick shot from a suppressor-equipped .22 without Sedgie seeing it?

@Sisyphos – from behind the grassy knoll, perhaps?

Jarvis is truly a subtle and magnificent manservant.

Love it (both cartoon and comments!)

For a moment I feared for the life of Bonnard, in Sedgie’s fireline.

the trajectory of the BB is all wrong. If he needs binoculars to see the bird there would be an arc on the BB. I’ve even told myself it’s just a comic strip and couldn’t resist the comment.

Just because he is using binolulars it doesn’t mean he needs them. The turkey cold just be past the frame.
