I admit I haven’t been reading this strip as long as most posters, but the only time I’ve seen Bob has been in a bar with Joe. So, until he actually spoke to Victoria on the phone, I wondered if Bob was the imaginery result of a few mugs of brew….

Birth Certificate doesn’t prove anything. I have an official one that states my birth parents are my adoptive ones. No where to be found is my real birth parents info. So proving he’s blood related might be harder than reading a piece of paper.

Running DNA isn’t an automatic proof that two men are brothers.My understanding is that the test can prove is that the men share a common ancestor, but it doesn’t tell us the exact relationship. So, the common ancestor who is the grandfather of one man could be the great uncle of another.

Umm…Cruz is an American, no matter where he was born; his mother’s American, so that makes him an automatic American citizen. Same reason that saying Obama isn’t a citizen is silly – his mother is, so he is from birth…no matter where either of the two (Cruz or Obama) were born.
