Bev… about the fingernails…that’s the latest XTI SuperBright™ Color-Change flashing glitter…..

I forgot to tell you that a quick rub from tip to base turns them down one level.

5 times turns it all the way off. Rub from base to tip to turn them up….they were all the way up (level 5) when you left the salon.

Don’t worry about wasting power…. they’re solar and also can be recharged by ordinary room lighting or by poking them gently into a lemon half.

You know, I often try to answer your many questions….but later, you ask the very same ones again, and this time you posted that I only claim to use Paint….

I’m sorry…. but it’s frustrating….if you don’t save my answers or even believe what I’ve told you… including about Paint and about the time it all takes…what’s the point?

And you weren’t asking about glitter, but about altering pictures….(which I do, as I said, in PAINT.)I have no secret software or shortcuts!StelBel and I are both obsessively dedicated to working long hours on pictures.End of story.

But you’re right, glitter is an animation, and you can’t do those in Paint. If you already know that, why ask me?

I never said I drew my own glitter…. I’m just now trying to learn to do moving gifs….…as I also said…. in another program.

To add the glitter effects, I use various websites, which I spent a lot of time searching for. The only ones I’ve found so far are not only very time-consuming, they’re difficult to use, tedious, and unreliable, so I don’t recommend any of them.

If you find a good one in YOUR OWN search, please let me know

I just made Go Comics my home page. I would rather have a home page that did it all. When I tried Yahoo, I got the comics, but no comments. Other pages I have tried don’t even get the comics

@susanHow you apply our nails is irrelevant to the fact that you take the time to DO them, and we get to walk around with fantastic works of art on our hands. No one can or should try to copy you nor do you ask an artist how she painted the picture. I for one am soooo flattered and thankful that you spent all that time on me!

@ Bev or Tech feel so dense: I downloaded my pics to Photobucket, went to comment: put the GC required <imgsrc etc. before and after and pasted the url in the middle, but when it posted all I got was the URL address, HOW do I turn that into a Picture? Geeze I must be soooooo out of date and NOT with it. lol

@Susan, I’m really sorry to be such a pain. I know it is lots of work to paint together anything – especially like the Birthday cakes (the cockatoo one you did for me and the bunny one were especially memorable). My own efforts are clumsier than yours and Stel’s, not from lack of effort (though I DO try to do shortcuts when possible) and my free Flikr (after years paying on Webshots with everything sorted) does not even let me in every time I try (or IE does not like it) so I can only reach the last 1/2 dozen postings now, but FB may have made some changes so I think I’ll take all my art work and stuff that lives in FB because maybe Flickr will work with fewer things.

One birthday cake I posted in a hurry had very tiny writing of “grandma or grandpa” which I left on because if I did so much as change a few pixels I have to save and post somewhere else (Flikr would be better with separate albums or a search within your own photos). I may use it ONLY for the cakes and temporary stuff if Go Comics continues to work with FB images.

I’d like to know what search criteria you used for glitter works. I did a lot of searching for the GIFs because I like watching a lot of GIFs online so wanted to make my own. I left another message with the one that works best. Lets me set time and chose which frames to use and cut. I only tried once so far with marginal result so I’ve not used. Every one of these is selling some “free” business cards which at the end are not free (shipping). When I had the Epson Printer and used their ink I printed on Avery’s

Susan, great job! And you got to that before I did (I see you used 6 frames Irfanview lets me save them as separate files). I did so to study how much change you did, and I saved the site you used (I was thinking of trying an avatar for myself) I have been experimenting with photo gifs (naughty not for that site or GoComics). I managed to get to the site that you used and may try tomorrow. Bedtime now. I left a note earlier on DS about the video making site.

Time for my nightly Kahlua and Brandy (really Cinnamon tea with Hawthorne and Holy Basil extracts). I tried to post an archery photo that I posted together from a Christmas brunch. I may try once more, but in case I freeze up- G-night!
