A good size nip of OP rum in a beer is a better choice. My late father-in-law was a shearer and he said it was a good remedy to ward off a cold, get through a cold or as a pick-me-up. Me, I just like it.
That shoould make the coffee marginally more palatable. Never had Irish Cream — as I’ve always said, coffee is afilthy trick to play on good Irish whisky, but the whisky doesimprove the coffee.

Back in my college days ( right after the Civil War ) I dated a girl who drank beer and black coffee. I got used to it – the girl, that is.
