    He should be Nervous being that he is old and expensive he will be on the top of the list at the next round of layoffs.We can find someone younger and cheaper to do his job

    he should be! Happened to my dad. He went to pick up his boss at the airport and his boss fired him over sandwiches in the food court.

    Yeah, just like the applications don’t ask for your birth date or age ‘cause that could lead to discrimination…..but what kind of message is sent when the ’year graduated high school’ is 1972. I don’t want to fight my way up a corporate ladder, but nearly all the jobs—-even call center jobs—-talk about the excellent career, etc. How about someone who will be there day in/day out so those career minded folk can climb the ladder???
