    More Hollywood Squares…

    Q. True or False, a pea can last as long as 5,000 years.

    A. George Gobel: Boy, it sure seems that way sometimes.

    Q. You’ve been having trouble going to sleep. Are you probably a man or a woman?

    A. Don Knotts: That’s what’s been keeping me awake.

    Q. Which of your five senses tends to diminish as you get older?

    A. Charley Weaver: My sense of decency..

    Q. In Hawaiian, does it take more than three words to say ‘I Love You’?

    A. Vincent Price: No, you can say it with a pineapple and a twenty..

Thank you Number Three! And how are things with you? I hope all is well. I try to drop by but I am not very good at it. Partly because I myself read TOO many comics, I’m addicted!

am listening to the reasons I am an anglophile and have been all my “conscious” life…Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Beatles, The Stones, Hermans Hermits, Dusty Springfield, the Yardbirds, the Kinks, the Who, the Hollies, (who were more creative than the previous two musically)my favorite of all time, Donovan, Chad and Jeremy, who reminds me of Peter and Gordon, and another fave Van Morrison was busy then with some group I cant think of even though I can see the album in my head…no lettering on it..lol..and one of the groups that made me dance, the Animals…and I was reading Noel Cowards plays due to my interest in the years between the wars, and laughing my self silly with Andy Capp…although, I am glad in a way the physical violence eased off…spent too much time assisting in womens shelters I guess…but Andy, whether his artists are good, ( Roger Kettle) bad, (current) or OUTSTANDING (Reg Smythe)…is still Andy, his outlook is like a lot of folks here in the states as well as in England and I dare say a lot of other countries as well, if theres a dole there will be an Andy there to collect it…thats not all there is to him, but without the dole, I dont think he would last long enough for a strip to have shown his life…it would be entirely too squalid to show anyway…so I come for some sameness…no matter which political party is in, no matter what the silly weather does, Andy is the same…and so is early 60’s British music!

I wish I knew how to blow up my avatar so you could see it. It really is lovely, as you would expect since that is why I chose it….I can see floating down this river, on a Mississippi steam boat with its whistle blowing….
