Even if everyone threw fish at each other, that would way down on my bucket list.

I, a native Washingtonian, find that remark of Pig’s in the third panel rather awkward. I’ve also been to Pike Place Market but I’ve no recollection of seeing fish being tossed from one monger to another.

Pig, you can replace it on your list with the Mullet Toss, at the Flora Bama Club between Gulf Shores Alabama and Pensacola FL.C’mon down the last full weekend of August, and you can finish off your bucket list, and they can have a cochin du lait in your honor.JusSayin

Pig should come to Spain sometime for the Tomatina. People in a village in Valencia throw about a tonne of tomatoes at each other. It used to be free, then the tourist council woke up and started charging admission.

I’ve been to Seattle, not too long ago, and never got hit by a fish. On the other hand, I was ducking raindrops regularly. I can cross “visit Seattle” off my bucket list now. Fish-throwing never seemed like much fun, anyhow.

Geez, I thought throwed rolls were dangerous enough. At least they don’t stink.

Things I’ve done in Seattle that you can’t do there any more: ride the Bubbleator, watch the music and light show at the International Fountain, visit the Kingdome, watch the hydrofoil races from the Evergreen Point Bridge.

Seattle gets a bum rap. Lots of cities get more rain. It didn’t help that every time there was a window in Frasier, a stagehand was off camera hosing it. It gets a lot of light rain and long streaks of gray weather. But it can also rain pitchforks there, too.

The world of Pig’s misconceptions is an interesting place. He thought that Missouri was the “shove me” state.

It rains so much in Seattle that we generate electricity from falling water. The sea lions at the Ballard Locks eat all the salmon, leaving nothing for us to eat. Since Boeing moved to Chicago, nobody has jobs. Life is so bad here that they had to put up barriers on the Aurora Bridge to keep us from jumping off. DON’T MOVE HERE.

I live an hour from Seattle and avoid it as much as possible. It’s the traffic I despise; I don’t mind the flying fish all that much.
