I don’t know my daughter once invited her dad and his wife and my second husband and his new wife and me to Thanksgiving……..I decided I would rather clean my oven so I lied and stayed home. But truly, I see my second husband and his wife at family functions about 3 or 4 times a year ever year, we are all friends.
My current Grace is “Dear Lord, bless this food to my body. May the energy derived from it, be used to spread Your glory, Amen”I was taught “God is gracious, God is good! Lets us thank Him for our food. Amen”. but I don’t say it often. Its too sterile.
It’s Christmas. Time for friends and family to come together and enjoy the day. They did not want to leave Connie out over something so trivial. Every one should have moved on by now. We’ll see. MERRY CHRISTMAS,ALL.
Brings back memories (everything does, nowadays): My family used to say, “Lord, we thank thee for these and all our blessings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” That got the job done. Incidentally, they were Methodists, but didn’t attend church any longer.

The spirit of giving. In light of Farley’s future it is much more meaningful.

I was thinking the area with Farley was in black and white because of his demise?

You would think Ted would spend Christmas with his mother, but I can’t think who else that could be.
