How’d you manage to lose the ladder Opal?

Climbing onto a pitched roof is almost always easier than climbing down. (Notice I didn’t say getting down.)

Don’t just stand there, Earl. Start shooting some family videos.

As a young child we had a dog that loved to climb ladders. If the ladder was left propped against the side of the house you always knew where the dog was.

She could have at least cleaned the gutters while she was up there!

For once, Opal has egg on her face.

“JUMP Opal! I’ll catch you! Heh, heh, heh.”

How did a scrawny little kid like Cow-pie Head put the ladder up against the roof in the first place? Extension ladders are HEAVY!!!!

Well Opal, just jump, and Earl will catch you!

Good to see this Opel/Ladder strip. It went missing for a day.

Let Opal stay up there till Christmas Eve, then let her slide down the chimney.

At least she wore tennis shoes. But that dress – an accident waiting to happen.

So she got the ladder out, set it up, went back in and sat on the couch, went out and climbed on the roof, and lost the ladder…

Someone stole their car between the first and fourth panels.

I would have turned around and went back inside and made myself a sandwich…“Life Alert” wouldn’t help Opal too much in this situation..It’s only for someone ..who has fallen and can’t get up..
