That was a pretty good shot. He shot them down right where the bad guy posse was waiting!

Love the Hughes, great detail. But they always get busted up.

Yes, they don’t make them like that anymore: Hughes helicopters, fishbowl transit buses, checker cabs. Ah, good times, great memories.

And now, back to our regular scheduled program . . .Does Rip get the call?If not, does Rip get mad because he thinks he’s been stood up?Does he realize Breezy wouldn’t fail him unless she was in big trouble?Does Rip go to the sheriff’s office to inquire about a possible missing helicopter?-Possibilities for plot twists abound.

She is a good pilot… got it down in one piece… good thing Hughes has plenty more, because I think she’ll keep needing replacements.

Ah bullets and helicoptors on fire. It’s begining to look a lot like Christmas. Thanks Mr. Thompson

It’s confusing to the reader to change the color of the helicopter from panel three to panel 4. The reader first thinks they’re two different crafts.

I hope Breezy doesn’t turn into another Sarah Jane Smith. In classic Dr. Who, she was the companion who was always screaming, getting into trouble, and the Doctor was always having to rescue her.
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t want her to turn into another Leela of the Sevateem, but if Breezy just becomes a perpetual D.I.D. for Rip to rescue, it’ll get real old real quick. At that point I will begin rooting strongly for Cobra to regain her former place.

“This landing is gonna get pretty interesting.”“Define ‘interesting’.”[deadpan] “Oh God, oh God, we’re all going to die?”“Just get us on the ground!”“That part’ll happen pretty definitely.”

In the event of an in-flight emergency it is the responsibility of the pilot to arrive at the crash site first.
